Together with “White Satin,” one in all Zeds Useless’s most legendary songs of their extremely giant discography remains to be their remix of “Eyes On Hearth” by Blue Basis. First launched in 2009 — and truly developing on its 10th anniversary in October — that is a type of tracks that made many fall in love with bass music within the first place.
It’s been 10 years since then, and rather a lot has modified, and new names have come up. Yultron is a type of producers making big waves and a giant title for himself recently and selected to tackle this traditional and retool it for his personal viewers and for 2019.
The music begins off as regular, besides with some slight modifications to the percussion. Then, within the rise as much as the drop we get our actual first new aspect: breakbeat. It’s an effective way to construct suspense and sign a listener that they’re about to listen to one thing wild. Positive sufficient, the drop is modified and possibly even wubbier than the unique. I’ve gotta say, Yultron did an outstanding job right here of retaining the vibes of the unique and bringing it a brand new, contemporary sound.
In fact, he couldn’t simply cease there. The subsequent drop brings his present sound to the desk with a minimal psytrance drop, slowly introducing extra vitality little by little till it seamlessly strikes again into dubstep.
There’s not a lot I can consider to make this tribute/remix/homage any higher than it already is. Yultron clearly has quite a lot of respect and admiration for Zeds Useless and this remix is all of the proof you want. Test it out under.
